When does one begin to understand they are part of a collective? When does a child begin to view their world as safe or unsafe? When, if ever, can a child speak to the tensions that can exist within their schools, homes, or within themselves and gain support and community. This workshop can be customized for various age groups but has been conducted with children aged 5-11.

This workshop is an opportunity for youth to share the narratives of their inner lives with their loved ones and others within their support networks while gaining the benefits of social, emotional, and cognitive learning.

Social, Emotional, and Cognitive Skills Developed
Social: Connect through shared experiences, Communication Skills, Turn Taking, Listening/ Sharing, and Problem Solving
Emotional: Decreasing Self-Judgement and Increasing Self-Esteem
Cognitive: Decision- making
